DEAR FRIEND If you : - have done or are doing psychotherapy , or any other type of deep reflexion work about yourself , whatever may be your profession ; - or are yourself a psychotherapist , a social worker ; and if : - you are interested in founding with others a selfwork group AND HAVE THE WILLINGNESS TO DISCOVER , IN THE DEPTH OF YOUR SELF, WHAT IT IS THAT MAKES YOU UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE YOUR SELF FULLY TO OTHERS , AS WELL AS TO RECEIVE OTHERS IN YOUR SELF, We can help you to realize this . We are a selfwork group that exists since 1983 . The majority of us have been engaged in this selfwork for more than 10 years . From 1983 to 1994 we worked to reach a solid and stable experience about the FACT that if something does not work between you and somebody , then you alone can liberate the creative power contained in this situation , by learning to see how you manipulate the other , thus keeping him in his negative point of view , while unconsciously hindering yourself from seeing that you are doing this , and thereby not liberating yourself from your own negative point of view . In other words : the problem , or the fault you find in someone else is just a mirror of what you do not want to see in yourself . Since 1995 we have been teaching other people to build groups like ours , bringing them our 15 years of selfwork experience . We are not interested in founding , or serving , any political , religious or philosophical power . We just want to help YOU , if you wish , to create around yourself a selfwork environment which will help you to find what hinders you and the members of your group from understanding yourselves and one another. Our help consists of making you THINK AGAIN about ideas that you in fact already know , because they have been announced all the time by the greatest human thinkers . Thus only apparently thinkers such as Krishna , Socrates , Heraclitus , Lao Tse , Siddartha , Bodidharma , Jesus , the ideas attributed to the American Indian Chief Seattle , Lavoisier , Descartes , Einstein , Moreihei Ueshiba , Freud , Jung , Perls , Martin Luther King or Mathatma Gandhi seem to be very different . But if we listen from the depth of our selves to what they really said , we understand what they really meant and we realize then that all of them , as well as many many others , are only trying to help us to realize that only OUR BODY separates us from others , while OUR MIND is completely able to reach and to understand everything and everybody , but only : IF YOU LEARN TO ALLOW EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY TO REACH YOUR MIND . As a first step , we can help you and your group to reach this understanding and to practice it. After some years of training, your group will only keep growing up if it is able to help other people to build their own selfwork group , as we helped you with your group . And we will help your group again while you all together will make your first steps in this experience which consists in : GIVING AWAY ALL OF YOUR RECEIVED EXPERIENCE . At the moment , we are helping people to build this type of group in Europe and in South America . We think that the United States presents a very good ground for creating selfwork groups like ours . To the USA , we will send AUSTRO QUEIROZ , who helped us to become an autonomous selfwork group . Austro will provide you the basis for this work , just as he did for us ; and we will then continue this work , to finish what Austro will have begun . Austro , 50 , is a Brazilian MD and psychiatrist who lived , studied and worked in Germany . At present he lives in Paris , from where he is helping us to finish our supervision work with new groups in various countries . And we are 50 individuals who live in the places where the selfwork groups are coming to life . Some of us are psychotherapists by training and practice , while the rest of us work in every sort of professions imaginable !
